The Modulus is an electronic, semi-automatic clip system blaster. It is unique in that, with its included accessories, it can be configured, equipped, and used in over thirty different ways. It features five tactical rails, an integrated carry handle, and barrel extension and detachable shoulder stock compatibility. Similar to the Demolisher 2-In-1, the clip release button is located just behind the clip well, in front of the firing trigger.
It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet (twenty-seven meters).
Kids can build their blaster for any mission or battle with the Nerf Modulus ECS-10 blaster. This motorized blaster includes a removable targeting scope, drop grip, dual-rail barrel, and storage stock, so kids can customize the blaster in more than 30 combinations. Load up the blaster’s 10-dart banana clip with the included Modulus Elite darts, and hit the battlefield in whatever configuration will launch battlers toward victory. Expand the customizing options with Nerf Modulus accessories and upgrade kits (each sold separately). With the full Nerf Modulus system, create over 1000 different combinations!
The Modulus was re-released with a few changes to its shell and accessories; notably, the grip was made to be slightly more ergonomically and comfortably, and the shoulder stock was made sturdier.
There is a Kohls-exclusive value pack which comes with a Flip Clip and twenty-four Elite Darts. It does not come with a Dual-Rail Barrel, Drop Grip, or a banana clip.
Reloading and firing
To reload the Modulus, press the clip release button to remove any empty clips. Load up to ten Elite Darts into the provided banana clip. Load the clip into the blaster.
To fire a dart, hold down the acceleration trigger. The user may wish to wait for the flywheels to spool up for maximum range. Pull the firing trigger to fire a dart.
- This blaster is the second to come packaged with a banana clip, the first being the Demolisher 2-In-1.
- The Modulus is tied with the RapidStrike CS-18 for the second most tactical rails on a single Nerf blaster—five. The blaster with the most, at six, is the Stampede ECS.
- However, it has the most attachment points of any type (barrel extension, shoulder stock, and tactical rails) at seven.
- In firing, the trigger pull is reputedly much smoother than the Stryfe due to fewer locks.
